Have any of you guys bought anything through MonkeyPeaches? I'm considering whether I should buy the Hero DVD through MonkeyPeaches or take my chances with eBay. I live in the US (and the majority of the Asian Cinema websites based in the USA can't sell Hero because miramAXE is evil).

Has anyone here had any positive or negative experiences with purchasing things through MonkeyPeaches? I really appreciate any help you can give me!

Other than the fact that the site operator is also a member of this site (MonkeyPeaches) and is known to be an upstanding young man of high credibility. I can't say if the product itself is any good, but the website itself is stellar.

I haven't bought anything from him yet, but trust me when I say that once MonkeyPeaches does get the Hero Extended version (if it ever gets released), I will be buying it from him.

Look at how much he's already done for the Z community... I think that's trustworthy enough and I might as well help him out too while he's at it.:D

I just placed the order. I can't wait to get the DVD, and I'm glad I can support him and buy it through him because he has such a great website. I'm so excited.

In case you didn't know, MonkeyPeaches runs off the same server that this website runs on. That's because the MonkeyPeaches domain name itself is owned by ZFilms.

I was about to order Hero on DVD, but I checked Monkeypeaches and he sells different versions of Hero. Which one is compatible with a DVD player? I heard that some of them need special region encoders, something like that.

All the DVDs on MonkeyPeaches are Region Free, according to the site, so they should play on all dvd players.

If you don't have a good home theater speaker set, you should get the DVD-5 cuz DTS might not be worth it. I'm not sure how much better the video quality is on DVD-9 that's being claimed though, but it shouldn't be too noticeable for most people.

Thanks Shadow. I'll be getting the DVD-5 of Hero then :D
