The new governor of California - AHHHnold - was in Washington this week. He stopped by a few places, including the place where I work. So I'm minding my own business, wanting to grab some lunch, and I can't get out of the lobby. The reason? It's crowded with folks wanting a glimpse of the Terminator.

You should have seen the limo train. Longer than Bush'es.

I wonder if he can actually govern? Maybe he has script writers like on the West Wing.

I wonder if he’s gonna keep making films?

Prediction. Look for a movie of the week sometime this century on the meteoric rise of AHHHnold from his humble roots as a Venice Beach boy toy to the heights of political power - starring - do I even need to say it?

The Rock? Hahaha.

I think they need someone like Sigfried from Sigfried and Roy...only pumped up. Dolf Lundgren.

It would be hard to simulate his early...musclehead years...because he didn’t really look real. He looked more cartoonish than THE HULK.

By the time the AHHHnold Story makes it to the silver screen, CGI will have progressed to the point where anyone can play him, including Pamela Anderson - if it hasn't already.

In a place were palacial home are standard...he get’s a new governor’s mansion that only opens to his fingerprints. Posh.

Get’s to work out in the Sacramento Kings‘ training facility.

He’s making Governor of California interesting. Kind of like watching the birth of a California Czar.

He looks really happy.

The funny thing about it is that the political situation in California is suddenly more interesting than in Washington. Washington is a charismatic black hole...while California is a brilliant sunrise.

Laugh all you want...but it’s like California has become north on the political compass. Ahnold isn’t even a natural American.

Crisis of leadership?

The crisis of leadership in California is all in the Democratic party. They're the ones that have screwed up Sacramento to such a point that even moderate Democrats said - That's enough of this crap - let's find another Ronald Reagan.

And they did.

The crisis in leadership is the one in Washington. The void has been filled in California...the cream rises to the top.

Taking a lesson from California politics...let now recall this president. I can’t think of anyone to replace him...so lets vacate the office till someone Heroic like Harrison Ford shows up. P. Diddy would be better then Bush.

You'll get your chance to vote next year, along with everyone else. If I were a Democrat, I'd vote for Gary Coleman at the Convention. He at least has some security guard experience.

Republicans are hoping Howard Dean gets the Donkey Party nod. He'd be annihilated by Bush in 04. Dean is so left wing liberal, he makes the Communist Party look conservative.

I'm registered as a Republican. If I have any political influence, I may change parties. At least Gary Coleman was given a few jobs for running as a recall candidate. I was also looking at a poll; most people would actually vote for Howard Dean or Joe Lieberman.
