:( Wasn't she supposed to do Shi Mian Mai Fu? We'll miss her dearly. The only movie I've seen her in was Legend of Drunken Master, she was very good in it.

Yeah, she was supposed to be in Shi Mian Mai Fu... hopefully they got some scenes done and can give her some sort of tribute. I hope everyone there is doing all right!

I have to admit, Anita Mui was a very fine actress. I've seen her in a good number of HK movies (often with Jackie CHan, which explains their friendship), and as far as things go, she lived up to my expectations.
Hong Kong cinema lost one of it's best actresses. :(

OMG:( anita mui's passing...very sad indeed...
she was a great singer, comedienne, and dramatic actress.
i've seen her in some of Stephen Chow's, Leslie Cheung's, and Chow Yun Fat's movies.
she was called the Madonna of Hong Kong because she keeps reinventing herself.
sad:(

I knew very little about her. What did she die from?

Some form of cancer that overwhelmed her. She fought it to the last.
