From Monkeypeaches....

Jet Li has announced, through his official site (JetLi.com), he would play the legendary martial art master Huo Yuanjia (1869-1910) in an untitled film with director Ronny Yu. Jet Li played Huo's pupil Chen Zhen, a fictional character, in Fist Of Legend, which was a remake of Bruce Lee's Fist Of Fury. Shooting of the untitled project will take place in China from March to July. Click here for detail.

Jet Li is also calling for anyone who practices martial arts to join the project. I guess the film might feature scenes of some sort of international championship.

Any fists of legend out there??

I wonder if anyone is going to digitally resurrect Bruce Lee. The state of the CGI art ought to be advanced enough now that it could be done.

tried that.

They did Steve McQueen the other day for Ford Motor Company.

What we need is a boutique where ordinary people like...US...can be inserted digitally into life.

Yeah, I saw that commercial. Pretty slick. Steve McQueen driving the new Mustang in a field of dreams road track. It was wild seeing someone who's been dead for 24 years driving the new Bullit car. Kinda creepy too.
