Hi, SHADOW, did you see the PS3 commercial on TV or in a theater? This Sony game machine is already available in HK, but it is not nearly as hot as PS2 was when it came out. Bluray movies are also on sale at reasonable prices now, but again people are not crazy about them. I think it's mainly because of the lack of affordable HD TV sets in both cases. LCD TVs are selling pretty well these days, but only a small number of househiolds can fork out HK$50,000 to HK$80,000 (more than $6,000 - $10,000) for a 37" - 45" Full HD model bearing names like SHARP, PHILIPS, SAMSUNG, LG or SONY. I'm talking about at least 1080i, ideally 1080p, with pixel-to-pixel play back. I'll be happy to have an HD home theater system by August next year to watch the Beijing Olympics, when HDTV broadcasting will have replaced the existing format, but I'm not very optimistic about actually achieving the goal (personal finance).:sigh:

I saw it on TV. I'm not sure if it was an HD commercial since the channel that I saw it on usually stretches non-HD content to fill the screen (I'd have to see it again to determine that).
