So Ang gave him a rough script so he might be in the movie, just not as a young Li Mu Bai. I'm glad he's not going to play Li Mu Bai. It's just wrong to see anyone but CYF as LMB.

One of the things I figgerd out about Jet Li...why I don’t think he’s that great...is Kung Fu looks better done by taller men. At least by more angular men. Jet looks too compact. Stubby even.

I think the first guy Neo fights in THE MATRIX RELOADED was supposed to be Jet Li. He looked like him in close-ups.

Same Jet Li sunglasses.

I think we need a talent search to find the young Mu Bi.

Donnie Yen would be a far better choice as a younger Li Mu Bai. At least he is nearly the same height as the original, 5' 9" and has a similar body build.

It would be quite a stretch, literally, to envision the Jetster all grown up as Chow Yun Fat - quite a stretch indeed.

Maybe Jet Li will play the pre- puberty Li Mu Bai.. You know before the growth spurts ..

hmm Donnie Yen... I can't really see him as a Mu Bai either. What's up with CYF not being able to play him? They should get someone who looks like CYF, although the acting might suffer.

is gonna be compared to the original...nobody with anything to lose...wants that to happen. They need to find a tall Chinese with nothing to lose. He don’t really need any kung fu skill...Ang Lee can make him a black belt.

Can you imagine getting the job of playing Jiao Long in either the sequel or prequel? Z made that character hers, but they got at least a 5000 girls with nothing to lose. Even if they suk, being compared to Z will make a career.

Errr...not an easy task casting a sequel or prequel.
