I don't know if 40 years qualifies as "get rich quick". It certainly qualifies under "get rich slow". 5 bucks a day equals $1,825 a year. I spend twice that on ZFilms annually and am getting more immediate gratification.

In 40 years, the daisies that I'm pushing up during my extended dirt nap will themselves be sequoias.

The lesson is that compounding will make you wealthy. $5 is nothing. Plug $10 in there. If you are in your 50’s you need to compound more money.

If you think “wealthy” you will automatically become wealthy. Think about the small things.

The $5 thing is based on how much most Americans spend on strokes they don’t need. A latté everyday. A pack of cigarettes. Desert for lunch. Take that money...pay it to yourself...put it somewhere where you won’t spend it...and over a period of time...it becomes a lot.

I'm already rich. Rich in friends. Rich in my profession. Rich in net worth. Rich in prospects. The only thing I don't have is enough time in the day to count all my riches.

Other than that, I'm rich, rich, rich - 'cept the money part. I'm so poor I can't even pay attention.
